Carefully harvest ripe Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, ensuring they are free from rot or damage.

Harvesting the Grapes

Crush the grapes in a clean fermentation vessel to release the juice.

Add 500ml of water to the crushed grapes. Stir in the sugar until dissolved.

If desired, add oak chips to the wine for aging. Seal the vessel and let it age for 3-6 months, checking periodically.

Aging the Wine

Once aged, siphon the wine into clean bottles and seal with corks. Allow to age further in the bottle for at least 1 month before enjoying.
