Ingredients
Bottle
Optional glass garnishes & pairings
Chill & prepare
1. Chill the bottle of Trivento White Malbec to serving temperature. For a white-style Malbec (often lighter and slightly chilled), aim for 8–12°C (46–54°F). Place the bottle in the refrigerator for 2–3 hours or in an ice bucket with equal parts ice and water for 20–30 minutes.
2. If you plan to serve with ice (for a casual spritz or cooler-style pour), fill glasses with 2–4 ice cubes each. Note that adding ice will dilute the wine as it melts; use sparingly.
Opening & pouring
3. When ready to serve, wipe the bottle neck with a clean cloth. Use a standard wine screw (waiter’s corkscrew) if the bottle has a cork: center the screw, twist until only one turn remains, pull out smoothly. If the bottle has a screwcap, twist and remove.
4. Pour a small taste (about 30–50 ml) into a glass and check aroma and flavor. Smell for fresh fruit, floral notes and any off-odors. If all is well, pour 120–150 ml per serving into white-wine glasses. Leave some space to allow aromas to concentrate.
Optional spritz variation
5. Wine Spritz (light)
For a refreshing spritz, fill a large wine glass with 2 ice cubes. Pour 90–120 ml chilled Trivento White Malbec, then top with 60 ml chilled sparkling water. Gently stir once with a bar spoon to combine. Garnish with a lemon slice or a couple of thin green apple slices.
Garnish & pairings
6. Garnish each glass with a lemon slice or a couple of green apple slices if desired. Serve immediately with light hors d'oeuvres such as mild cheeses, melon, and prosciutto, or light seafood and salads that complement the wine’s fruit and floral character.
7. If not finishing the bottle, reseal with the original screwcap or a wine stopper and refrigerate. Consume within 2–3 days for best freshness; the wine’s aromatics and brightness will diminish with time.
