Affogato Preparation
Prepare the Espresso
Brew a shot of colectivo espresso using your espresso machine or stovetop espresso maker.
Scoop the Gelato
In a serving glass or bowl, place one generous scoop of gelato.
Pour the Espresso
Immediately pour the hot espresso shot over the gelato.
Add Amaro
Drizzle the Lazzaroni amaro over the top of the espresso and gelato.
Serve Immediately
Serve the affogato immediately with a spoon. Enjoy the contrast of hot and cold!
