Beef and Marinade

Method

Preparation and Cooking

1

Marinate the Beef

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, and black pepper. Whisk until the sugar is dissolved. Thinly slice the ribeye steak and add it to the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

2

Cook the Beef

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Remove the ribeye from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Cook the beef for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

3

Prepare Lettuce Wraps

Wash and separate the lettuce leaves. Use them as wraps for the bulgogi beef.

4

Serve with Ssam Sauce

Serve the ribeye bulgogi in lettuce wraps with ssam sauce on the side for dipping.
