Made in-house with fresh strawberries and lemon juice.
Wash the fresh strawberries thoroughly under running water. Remove the stems and cut them into halves or quarters depending on your preference.
In a small saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium heat. Stir until the sugar has dissolved completely.
In a blender, combine the prepared strawberries, lemon juice, and the sugar syrup. Blend until smooth.
Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer to remove the seeds and pulp for a smoother texture.
Chill the strawberry citrus mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Serve in glasses over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
