Method

Cocktail

1

Chill glass

Place a martini glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill it with ice water while you prepare the cocktail to chill it.

2

Measure & combine

Into a cocktail shaker add 2 oz Cruzan Mango Rum, 1.5 oz pineapple juice, 1 oz orange juice, 0.25 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup if you'd like a touch more sweetness.

3

Add ice & shake

Fill the shaker with about 6 pieces of ice (enough to nearly fill the shaker). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is cold and slightly frosted.

4

Strain

Discard the ice or water from the chilled martini glass. Double-strain the cocktail into the chilled martini glass using a Hawthorne strainer and a fine mesh strainer (to remove small ice shards and any pulp).

Garnish & Serve

5

Garnish with a mango slice on the rim and an orange twist across the rim or floated on top. Add a cocktail cherry if desired. Serve immediately.
