Cocktail

Method

Prep Glass

1

Chill and Decorate

Place a martini or coupe glass in the freezer for at least 5 minutes to chill. Using chocolate syrup, lightly drizzle a swirl inside the chilled glass or dip the rim—hold the glass at an angle and rotate to create streaks. Put the glass back in the freezer while you mix the cocktail.

Mix Cocktail

2

Add ice to a cocktail shaker until about two-thirds full (roughly 1 cup).

3

Pour in 2.5 oz Three Olives Cherry vodka, 1 oz Godiva Dark Chocolate liqueur, 0.5 oz fresh cherry juice or cherry syrup, 0.25 oz fresh lemon juice, and 1 oz heavy cream into the shaker.

4

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 12–18 seconds. You want the heavy cream to emulsify slightly and the mixture to become well chilled and slightly frothy.

5

Remove the glass from the freezer. Strain the cocktail through a fine-mesh strainer or the shaker strainer into the prepared martini glass to catch any ice shards and to keep the chocolate streaks undisturbed.

Finish & Garnish

6

Garnish with one maraschino or brandied cherry on a cocktail pick, placing it on the rim or floating in the drink.

7

Optionally sprinkle 1 tsp grated dark chocolate or a light dusting of cocoa powder over the top for aroma and visual appeal.

8

Serve immediately while cold.
