Cooking Instructions
Cook the Rigatoni
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Sauce
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add Sausage and Prosciutto
Add the pork sausage and diced prosciutto to the skillet. Cook until the sausage is browned and cooked through, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks, about 7-10 minutes.
Combine Ingredients
Stir in the chicken stock, cannellini beans, and broccoli florets. Bring to a simmer and let cook for about 5 minutes, until the broccoli is tender.
Combine with Pasta
Add the cooked rigatoni to the skillet and toss to combine all ingredients. Stir in the grated Romano cheese until melted and creamy.
Season and Serve
Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot, garnished with additional Romano cheese if desired.
