Cooking Instructions

1

Cook the Porterhouse Steak

Season the Porterhouse steak with salt and black pepper. Grill or pan-sear the steak to your preferred doneness (medium-rare is recommended). Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

2

Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften. Add the green and red bell peppers, and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the peppers are tender.

3

Prepare the Pomodoro Sauce

In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the crushed tomatoes, add fresh basil, salt, and black pepper. Let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4

Assemble the Dish

On a large serving plate, create a bed of the sautéed peppers and onions. Slice the rested Porterhouse steak and place it on top. Spoon the fresh pomodoro sauce over the steak and serve immediately.
