Instructions

1

Prepare the ingredients

Chop the garlic and slice the prosciutto into thin strips. Halve the plum tomatoes.

2

Sauté garlic

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

3

Add prosciutto

Add the sliced prosciutto to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes until it starts to become crispy.

4

Combine tomatoes and wine

Add the halved plum tomatoes to the skillet, followed by the white wine. Stir gently to combine.

5

Season and simmer

Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Let the mixture simmer for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes are soft and the sauce has thickened.

6

Finish with basil

Remove from heat and stir in the fresh basil. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

7

Serve

Serve hot as a side dish or over pasta.
