Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Lobster
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add lobsters and cook for about 8-10 minutes until they turn bright red. Remove and let cool. Once cool, remove the meat from the shells and chop into large pieces.
Cook the Pasta
In the same pot, cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a cup of pasta water.
Make the Sauce
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing until fragrant (about 1 minute).
Combine Ingredients
Pour in the crushed tomatoes and white wine, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 10-15 minutes. Add lobster meat, fresh basil, salt, and black pepper, cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
Finish the Dish
Toss the cooked spaghetti into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce. Serve hot, garnished with extra basil if desired.
