Cooking Instructions

1

Season the Steak

Generously season the porterhouse steak with salt and black pepper on both sides. Allow it to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

2

Preheat the Broiler

Set your oven's broiler to high and allow it to preheat for about 10 minutes.

3

Prepare the Garlic and Herbs

While the broiler is preheating, finely chop the garlic and fresh herbs. In a small bowl, mix them with olive oil to create a herb-garlic oil.

4

Broil the Steak

Place the seasoned steak on a broiler pan. Broil the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust the time according to your desired level of doneness.

5

Baste with Herb-Garlic Oil

During the last minute of broiling, brush the steak with the herb-garlic oil mixture.

6

Rest and Serve

Remove the steak from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve with additional herb-garlic oil drizzled on top.
