Cocktail
Method
Rim
Prepare glass rim
Run a lime wedge around the outer edge of a chilled coupe or rocks glass to moisten the rim. Pour the coarse salt onto a small plate and gently dip the moistened rim into the salt, rotating to coat evenly. Set the glass aside.
Mixing
Combine ingredients
Add the Milagro Silver Tequila (2 oz), Cointreau (1 oz), fresh lime juice (0.75 oz), and agave syrup (0.5 oz) into a cocktail shaker.
Add ice and shake
Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup) and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds, until the outside of the shaker is very cold and well-chilled.
Strain
Strain the cocktail through a fine mesh or Hawthorne strainer into the prepared, salt-rimmed glass. For a traditional chilled presentation use a rocks or coupe glass without additional ice (or over a single large ice cube if you prefer it slightly diluted).
Garnish and serve
Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim. Serve immediately.
