Method
Prepare the Glass & Rim
Rim the glass
Pour the granulated sugar onto a small plate. Rub the lime wedge around the rim of a chilled rocks or coupe glass to moisten, then dip the rim into the sugar, rotating to coat evenly. Set the glass aside to let the rim set.
Make the Blackberry Purée
Place the fresh blackberries into a shaker or small jar. Muddle vigorously with a muddler or the back of a spoon until the berries are broken down and juicy (about 20–30 seconds).
Optional: If you prefer a smoother texture, press the crushed berries through a fine-mesh strainer into a small bowl to remove seeds, using the back of a spoon to help extract juice. Discard solids or reserve for another use.
Build & Shake
Into the shaker with the muddled blackberries, add the Concier Silver Tequila (2 oz), fresh lime juice (0.75 oz), agave syrup (0.5 oz), and ice (about 4 oz). If you want it sweeter, add the optional 0.25 oz simple syrup.
Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels cold and slightly frosted. This chills and integrates the fruit.
Strain & Serve
Garnish with one fresh blackberry on a cocktail pick and a lime wedge on the rim. Serve immediately.
