Cooking Instructions

1

Preparation

Remove the Wagyu beef from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.

2

Seasoning the Beef

Pat the beef dry with paper towels. Season generously with sea salt and black pepper on all sides.

3

Searing the Beef

Heat the olive oil in a heavy skillet or cast iron pan over medium-high heat until it begins to shimmer.

4

Cooking

Place the Wagyu beef in the hot pan and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare, depending on thickness.

5

Adding Herbs

During the last minute of cooking, add the fresh herbs to the pan for flavor. Baste the beef with the oil and herb mixture.

6

Resting

Remove the Wagyu from the pan and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

7

Serving

Slice the beef against the grain and serve with your favorite sides.
