Cooking the Pasta

Boil the Spaghetti

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.

Making the Sauce

Prepare the Sauce

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in capers, chopped olives, anchovy fillets, and Calabrian chili paste. Cook for 3-4 minutes until heated through.

Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the sauce. Toss well to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed to achieve desired consistency.

Making Pangrattata

Prepare Pangrattata

In a small skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add bread crumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Stir in grated parmesan cheese.

Serving

Serve the Dish

Plate the spaghetti and top it with pangrattata. Serve immediately.
