Margarita Directions

1

Prepare the Glass

Start by preparing your margarita glass. Rub the rim of the glass with a lime wedge to moisten it. Dip the rim into a plate of coarse sea salt to coat it evenly. Set the glass aside.

2

Mix the Drink

In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of Hornitos Reposado Tequila, 1 oz of Triple Sec, and 1 oz of Sweet & Sour Mix. Add 1 cup of ice cubes to the shaker.

3

Shake It Up

Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to chill the mixture and combine the ingredients thoroughly.

4

Strain and Serve

Using a strainer, pour the margarita mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice. Leave some space at the top for the Cointreau.

5

Add the Cointreau

Carefully pour 0.5 oz of Cointreau into the glass, allowing it to float on top of the margarita mixture.

6

Garnish

Garnish the drink with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass for added flavor and presentation.
