Method

Preparing the Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the ribeye steaks and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Preheat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned ribeye steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is achieved. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Preparing the Shrimp

  1. 3

    Cook the Shrimp

In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the shrimp, lemon juice, paprika, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until shrimp turn pink and opaque.

  2. 4

    Garnish the Shrimp

Once cooked, remove the shrimp from the heat and stir in chopped parsley. Set aside.

Preparing the Asparagus

  1. 5

    Cook the Asparagus

In a separate pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the asparagus, salt, and black pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp.

Serving

  1. 6

    Plate the Dish

On a large plate, slice the ribeye steak and arrange it next to the sautéed asparagus. Top the steak with the garlic shrimp mixture and serve immediately.
