Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients: Deep Eddy Ruby Red Vodka, grapefruit juice, a fresh lime, and ice cubes. Make sure the vodka is chilled for the best flavor.

  2. 2

    Juice the Lime

Cut the fresh lime in half and use a citrus juicer or your hands to extract the juice from one half into a small bowl. Set aside the other half for garnishing.

  3. 3

    Mix the Cocktail

In a shaker, combine 2 oz of Deep Eddy Ruby Red Vodka, 4 oz of grapefruit juice, and the juice from half of the lime. Add a cup of ice cubes to the shaker.

  4. 4

    Shake Well

Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to mix the ingredients and chill the cocktail.

  5. 5

    Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into a chilled glass filled with fresh ice. Optionally, you can use a fine mesh strainer to ensure a smooth pour.

  6. 6

    Garnish

Take the other half of the lime and slice it into wedges. Add one lime wheel as a garnish on the rim of the glass for an appealing presentation.
