Preparation of Ingredients

Muddle the Vegetables

In a cocktail shaker, add the whole jalapeno (sliced) and the whole cucumber (peeled and sliced). Use a muddler to gently crush them to release their flavors.

Mixing the Margarita

Combine Ingredients

Add 2 oz of Altos Plata Tequila, 1 oz of Triple Sec, 1 oz of fresh lime juice, and 0.5 oz of simple syrup into the shaker with the muddled jalapeno and cucumber.

Shake

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Serving

Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice. If desired, rim the glass with salt before pouring.

Garnish

Garnish your drink with a lime wedge, a cucumber slice, and a sprig of fresh cilantro.
