Place the Villa Doluca Semillon in a refrigerator for at least 2 hours prior to serving, or for a quicker chill, submerge bottle in an ice-water bath for 20–30 minutes until it reaches about 8–10°C (46–50°F).

Chill the bottle

Select chilled white wine glasses or medium stemmed glasses. Rinse briefly with cold water and drain so glasses are cool to the touch — this preserves the crisp, refreshing character of the Semillon.

Prepare glassware

Just before serving, open the chilled bottle using a wine opener. Hold the bottle at the base and pour slowly into each glass, filling to about one-third full (approximately 120–150 ml per serving) to allow the aromas to aerate.

If desired, add 1–2 ice cubes to each glass for an extra-refreshing presentation (more common in warm climates). Garnish each glass with 1 lemon slice and 2 fresh mint leaves to complement the fruity, citrus and herbal notes of the Semillon.
