Place the bottle of Faultline Sauvignon Blanc in the refrigerator for at least 2–3 hours before serving (ideal serving temperature 45–50°F / 7–10°C). If short on time, submerge the bottle in an ice-water bath for 20–30 minutes.

Chill the bottle

Remove the foil capsule and wipe the top of the bottle with a clean towel. Use a waiter's corkscrew or wine opener to carefully remove the cork; wipe the bottle lip again if needed. Hold the bottle at the base and pour gently.

Open the bottle

Because this is a light, youthful Sauvignon Blanc, decanting is not required. If you prefer slightly more aromatic lift, pour the wine into a carafe and let it sit for 10–15 minutes before serving.

Decanting (optional)

Pour roughly 5–6 ounces (150–180 ml) per serving into a chilled white wine glass, filling the glass about one-third to halfway to allow the aromatics to concentrate.

Serving temperature and portion

If serving outdoors in very warm weather, add 2–3 ice cubes to the glass to keep the wine chilled. Note this will slightly dilute and mute aromas; prefer an ice bucket to chill the bottle instead.

Ice (optional)

Garnish with a single thin lemon slice on the rim of the glass and a small sprig of fresh mint tucked alongside the slice or rested on top. This enhances the bright citrus and herbaceous notes typical of Sauvignon Blanc without altering the wine's balance.

Serve immediately. Encourage guests to sniff the glass before tasting to appreciate the wine’s fruity acidity and light-bodied profile. Store any unfinished bottle upright in the refrigerator and consume within 2–3 days for best quality.
