Place the bottle of dry white wine in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving. If you need it quickly, submerge the bottle in an ice-water bath for 20–30 minutes to bring it to 7–10°C (45–50°F), a temperature that showcases lively, crisp and aromatic qualities.

Chill the bottle

Use a corkscrew or wine opener to remove the cork or cap. Wipe the bottle rim with a clean cloth to remove any dust or cork fragments.

Open the bottle

Because this is a light-bodied, aromatic white, decanting is not necessary. If the wine has been aged on lees and you prefer a slightly rounder texture and enhanced aromatics, gently pour into a narrow carafe and let it sit for 10–15 minutes.

Decanting (optional)

Select a chilled white wine glass. Pour 4–6 oz (120–180 ml) of wine per glass, filling to about one-third to allow aromatics to concentrate.

If you like a colder service, add 2–4 ice pieces to the glass or serve the wine alongside a small bowl of ice for guests to add as desired. Note: ice will dilute and mute aromatics over time, so prefer very well-chilled wine without ice when possible.

Express a lemon twist over the glass by holding the twist skin-side down and giving it a quick pinch above the wine to release essential oils. Rub the rim with the twist and drop it into the glass for a bright aromatic lift.

Optionally, add a fresh mint sprig to the rim (not submerged) for extra aromatic freshness. Do not muddle—the wine is best enjoyed lightly aromatic and crisp.

Arrange 2–3 crostini on a small plate. Thinly slice 2 oz goat cheese or feta and place on crostini, drizzle with a tiny bit of olive oil if desired.

Place 1/4 cup almonds in a small bowl. Serve the cheese-topped crostini and almonds alongside the glass of wine. These light, mildly salty bites complement the wine's liveliness without overpowering its delicate flavors.
