Cooking the Pasta

Cook the Macaroni

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Cheese Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the milk, and cook until the mixture thickens. Lower the heat and stir in the cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.

Mix Everything Together

In a large bowl, combine the cooked macaroni and cheese sauce. Mix well. Fold in the crumbled bacon and pulled pork gently.
