Strawberry Shake

Enjoy a creamy and refreshing regular-sized strawberry shake made with ripe strawberries and smooth vanilla ice cream.

Select ripe Merlot grapes from your vineyard or local supplier. Ensure they are free from rot and other imperfections.

Harvesting the Grapes

Gently crush the grapes to release their juice. This can be done by hand or using a wine press. Collect the juice in a clean fermentation vessel.

Sprinkle the yeast evenly over the juice. This will kickstart the fermentation process.

Adding Yeast

Allow the mixture to ferment in a controlled environment (ideally at 20-24°C) for about 7-14 days. Stir the mixture daily to ensure even fermentation.

After the fermentation, dissolve the sugar in a small amount of warm water and add it to the wine. Also, add the tannin powder for structure.

Add the oak chips to the wine for aging. Let the wine age for at least 6 months in a dark, cool place to develop flavors and aromas.

Once aging is complete, filter the wine to remove solids and bottle it using sanitized bottles. Seal the bottles with corks.

Bottling the Wine

Allow the wine to rest for a few weeks before tasting. This will let the flavors integrate and mellow. Serve in a suitable glass, and enjoy the smooth, big volume and structure of your Ceralti Sonoro Bolgheri Superiore.
