In a large pot, heat 5 liters of water to 70°C (158°F). Add the pale malt and crystal malt to the water, stirring gently. Maintain the temperature for 60 minutes.

Mashing the Grains

After mashing, remove the grains and bring the liquid (wort) to a boil. Add the hops and boil for 60 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Boiling the Wort

After boiling, cool the wort rapidly by placing the pot in an ice bath or using a wort chiller to bring the temperature down to around 20°C (68°F).

Cooling the Wort

Transfer the cooled wort into a sanitized fermentation vessel. Add the yeast and seal with an airlock. Allow it to ferment for 1-2 weeks at a stable temperature.

Fermentation

Once fermentation is complete, mix the priming sugar with a small amount of water and add to the fermented beer. Bottle the beer in sanitized bottles and cap them.

Bottling

Store the bottles in a dark place at room temperature for 1-2 weeks to carbonate. After conditioning, refrigerate and enjoy your homebrew.
