Lobster and Cooking Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Lobster

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the lobster tails and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they turn bright red. Remove from the pot and let cool. Once cool, extract the meat from the shells and chop into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Sauté Morels and Sea Lettuce

In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in the morels and sea lettuce, cooking until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Sauce

In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and add the dry vermouth. Bring to a simmer and let reduce for about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Continue to cook until the sauce thickens slightly.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

Fold the lobster meat into the sauce mixture along with the sautéed morels and sea lettuce. Stir in half of the grated Parmesan cheese.

  5. 5

    Bake the Lobster Thermidor

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer the lobster mixture into a baking dish. Top with the remaining Parmesan cheese and additional paprika. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
