In a large pot, heat 32 cups of water to about 160°F (70°C). Add 2 cups of barley malt, stirring well. Maintain this temperature for about 60 minutes to allow the enzymes to convert starches into sugars.

Mashing

After mashing, remove the grain bag and bring the liquid to a boil. Add 0.5 cups of hops and boil for 60 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

Boiling

Once the boil is complete, cool the wort quickly using an immersion chiller or an ice bath until it reaches around 70°F (21°C).

Cooling

Transfer the cooled wort into a sanitized fermentation vessel. Add 1 tsp of yeast and seal with an airlock. Allow fermentation to occur for about 1-2 weeks at a stable temperature.

Fermentation

After fermentation is complete, dissolve 0.5 cups of priming sugar in a small amount of water and add it to the beer before bottling. Fill bottles, cap them, and let them carbonate for about 1-2 weeks.
