Preparation

1

Prepare the Ingredients

Chop all vegetables and any optional add-ins you want to include, such as bacon, ham, or sausage.

2

Whisk the Eggs

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Cooking the Omelet

3

Cook the Add-ins (if using)

In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, cook any meat options (bacon, ham, sausage) and remove them from the skillet once cooked. If using vegetables, sauté them in the skillet until tender.

4

Cook the Eggs

Add the whisked eggs to the skillet and let them cook for about 1-2 minutes until the edges start to set.

5

Add Cheese and Fillings

Sprinkle the mixed cheese over one half of the omelet. Add any cooked meat or vegetables on top of the cheese, then fold the other half of the omelet over the fillings.

6

Finish Cooking

Continue cooking for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted and the omelet is cooked through.

Serving

7

Plate the Omelet

Slide the omelet onto a plate and serve it with home fries and toast on the side.
