Dough & Base

Method

Dough & Base

1

preheat

Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating. If using a baking sheet, lightly oil it or line with parchment.

2

garlic sauce

Make the garlic sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the minced garlic, Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper until smooth and well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning. Set aside.

3

prepare dough

If using refrigerated dough, bring to room temperature for 20–30 minutes. On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll the dough to a 12-inch round (or desired size). Transfer to a floured pizza peel or prepared baking sheet. Brush the dough rim lightly with 1 tablespoon olive oil to promote browning.

Cheeses

4

Evenly spread about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of the prepared garlic sauce over the stretched dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border for the crust. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the sauced dough, leaving space for feta and other toppings.

5

Scatter the crumbled feta across the pizza in small clusters so each slice gets some tangy bites.

Toppings

6

cook beef

If not already cooked, heat a skillet over medium-high heat with 1 teaspoon olive oil. Add the ground beef, season with 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper (optional), and cook until browned and no longer pink, breaking into small crumbles (6–8 minutes). Drain excess fat and set aside. Alternatively, use pre-cooked hamburger.

7

Distribute the cooked ground beef evenly over the cheese layer.

8

Evenly scatter the fresh spinach over the pizza. If you prefer wilted spinach, briefly sauté the spinach in the skillet for 1 minute until just wilted, drain, cool slightly, then add to the pizza.

9

Scatter the sliced black olives over the pizza, followed by the thinly sliced fresh garlic. Make sure garlic slices are thin so they soften and mellow during baking.

10

Sprinkle the dried oregano and crushed red pepper flakes evenly over the toppings for Mediterranean flavor and a light heat.

Bake & Finish

11

Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 10–14 minutes on the center rack (or on the preheated stone). Bake until the crust is golden and blistered in spots and the cheese is melted and slightly browned. Baking time will vary with oven and stone vs sheet.

12

Remove the pizza from the oven. Let rest 2 minutes, then drizzle with 1 teaspoon olive oil and sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the top. If desired, add another small spoonful of garlic sauce in dollops before slicing.

13

Slice into 6–8 pieces and serve hot.
