Preheat and prep
Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C) with a pizza stone or inverted baking sheet on the middle rack. Lightly dust a pizza peel or work surface with flour.
Ranch sauce base
Make ranch base
In a small bowl, combine 3 tbs prepared ranch dressing, 2 tbs sour cream, 1 tbs mayonnaise, 1 tsp garlic powder and 1 tsp black pepper. Whisk until smooth and set aside. This will be the sauce layer under the cheese.
Toppings
Cook and season chicken
Pat the chicken breast dry, season with 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper and 1/2 tsp dried oregano. In a medium skillet over medium-high heat add 1 tbs olive oil and 1 tsp butter. When hot, add the chicken and sear 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (internal temp 165°F/74°C). Remove to a cutting board, let rest 3 minutes, then slice into thin strips or bite-size pieces.
Layer toppings on dough: Spread the prepared ranch base evenly over the dough, leaving the oiled rim exposed. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella across the sauce, distribute sliced chicken and chopped bacon evenly, add the remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella and then the 1/4 cup grated Parmesan. Scatter the sliced red onion over the top. Optionally sprinkle 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes for a touch of heat.
Bake
Transfer the assembled pizza to the preheated stone or baking sheet. Bake at 500°F (260°C) for 8-12 minutes, rotating halfway, until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling and lightly browned.
Finish & garnish
Glaze with ranch
Remove pizza from oven and let rest 1-2 minutes. Drizzle or lightly brush 3 tbs prepared ranch dressing over the hot pizza to glaze (use a spoon or squeeze bottle for even coverage).
Slice the pizza into 6-8 slices. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley if using and serve immediately.
