Large 14-inch Pizza (2 toppings)
Cheesy Breadstick (1 large breadstick)
Serving & Extras
Method
Large 14-inch Pizza (2 toppings)
Preheat and prepare
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating. Lightly dust a pizza peel or baking sheet with cornmeal or flour.
Stretch the dough
On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll the pizza dough into a 14-inch round. Transfer to the prepared peel or baking sheet dusted with cornmeal.
Add sauce and cheese
Brush the dough edge with 1/2 tablespoon olive oil. Spread 1 cup pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border. Sprinkle 2 cups shredded mozzarella evenly over the sauce.
Top the pizza
Distribute topping 1 (about 30 pepperoni slices or equivalent) evenly over half or whole pizza as preferred. Scatter topping 2 (about 1 cup of sliced peppers, mushrooms, or cooked sausage) evenly. Season with 1 tsp dried oregano, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/8 tsp black pepper.
Bake
Slide the pizza onto the preheated stone or place the baking sheet in the oven. Bake for 10–14 minutes, rotating halfway, until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.
Finish
Remove pizza from oven and let rest 3–5 minutes. Slice into 8 wedges and transfer to a serving plate. Reserve any leftover sauce for dipping.
Cheesy Breadstick (1 large breadstick)
Prepare dough and filling
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) if baking breadstick separately (or bake alongside pizza if oven space allows and temperature is similar). Roll or stretch 1/2 piece of dough into a 10–12 inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
Assemble breadstick
Brush the dough rectangle with 1 tablespoon melted butter mixed with minced garlic. Sprinkle half the mozzarella (about 1/2 cup) down the center lengthwise. Fold the dough over the cheese and pinch edges to seal, forming a long roll. Place seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush top with remaining melted butter, and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella, 2 tbsp grated parmesan, 1 tsp dried parsley or Italian seasoning, and 1/8 tsp salt.
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 12–18 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is melted and bubbly. If baking with pizza at higher temperature, monitor closely and reduce time as needed to avoid overbrowning.
Finish and serve
Remove from oven and let rest 2–3 minutes. Slice into 6–8 breadstick pieces. Serve warm with 1/2 cup marinara for dipping and, if desired, a sprinkle of extra parmesan or red pepper flakes.
Serving & Extras
Arrange pizza slices and cheesy breadstick pieces on a platter. Place the marinara dipping cup in the center and provide napkins, plates, and a pizza cutter. Optional: offer red pepper flakes to taste.
This special serves best fresh and hot; enjoy immediately with the chilled 2-liter soda.
