Infused Vodka Preparation

Prepare the Strawberries

Wash and hull the strawberries. Slice them into quarters to maximize infusion.

Infuse the Vodka

Place the sliced strawberries in a clean jar and pour the vodka over them. Seal the jar tightly and let it infuse in a cool, dark place for at least 3 days, shaking gently once a day.

Cocktail Assembly

Prepare the Cocktail

In a cocktail shaker, muddle the fresh basil leaves with simple syrup to release their flavor.

Mix Ingredients

Add 1/2 cup of the strawberry-infused vodka and 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice to the shaker. Fill with ice and shake well.

Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with ice. Top with sparkling water and garnish with a basil leaf and a slice of strawberry.
