Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic cloves, chopped fresh rosemary, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Steak

Place the ribeye steaks in a large resealable bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steaks, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (around 450-500°F or 230-260°C).

  4. 4

    Grill the Steaks

Remove the steaks from the marinade and discard any leftover marinade. Place the steaks on the hot grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side without moving them. Flip the steaks and grill for another 3-5 minutes for medium-rare, adjusting time for your preferred doneness.

  5. 5

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute within the meat.

Optional Sides Preparation

  1. 6

    Prepare Corn on the Cob

While the steaks are resting, you can boil or grill the corn on the cob for about 10-15 minutes until tender.

  2. 7

    Bake Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Scrub the potatoes, poke holes in them with a fork, and bake for 45-60 minutes until tender.

  3. 8

    Steam Broccoli

Steam the broccoli in a pot with a steaming basket for about 5-7 minutes until bright green and tender.
