Cold Brew Coffee Base

Method

Cold Brew Coffee Base Preparation

  1. 1

    Combine Ingredients

In a large pitcher or jar, combine the coarse ground coffee with cold water. Stir gently to ensure all the coffee grounds are saturated.

  2. 2

    Steep

Cover the pitcher and let it steep at room temperature for 12-24 hours, depending on your desired strength.

  3. 3

    Strain

After steeping, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or coffee filter into another container to remove the coffee grounds. You should have a smooth cold brew concentrate.

Cold Brew Martini Assembly

  1. 4

    Prepare the Shaker

In a cocktail shaker, add the Allen’s Cold Brew Coffee Brandy, Six & Twenty Carolina Cream, cold brew coffee (prepared earlier), and simple syrup.

  2. 5

    Add Ice

Fill the shaker with ice cubes (about 1 cup) to chill the mixture.

  3. 6

    Shake

Secure the lid on the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

  4. 7

    Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass. Optionally, garnish with a few coffee beans on top.
