Chicken Tenders
Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce
Method
Chicken Tenders
- 1
Prepare Chicken
Trim the chicken breast of any fat and slice into strips, about 1 inch wide.
- 2
Set Up Breading Stations
In three separate shallow bowls, place flour in the first bowl, beaten eggs in the second, and panko breadcrumbs mixed with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in the third.
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Dredge each chicken strip in flour, then dip in the eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs. Press the breadcrumbs onto the chicken to ensure they stick.
- 4
Heat Oil
In a large skillet, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
- 5
Cook Chicken Tenders
Carefully place the breaded chicken strips in the hot oil, cooking in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- 6
Drain and Serve
Once cooked, transfer the chicken tenders to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil, then serve warm.
Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce
- 7
Mix Sauce Ingredients
In a small bowl, combine honey, Dijon mustard, and mayonnaise. Stir until well blended.
- 8
Serve
Transfer the honey mustard dipping sauce to a serving bowl and enjoy alongside the crispy chicken tenders.
