Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Glass
Begin by rimming a chilled cocktail glass with sugar. To do this, moisten the rim of the glass with a bit of lemon juice or water, then dip it into the sugar to create a sugared rim.
- 2
Mix the Cocktail
In a cocktail shaker, add the Old Forester 100 Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Grand Marnier, and Sour Mix. Fill the shaker with ice cubes, covering the liquid.
- 3
Shake Well
Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
- 4
Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into the prepared cocktail glass. Be sure to pour it carefully to maintain the sugared rim.
- 5
Garnish
Garnish the drink with a Bing Cherry, placing it on the rim of the glass or dropping it into the cocktail.
