Tarte Chocolat

Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the crust

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until a dough forms. Press the dough into a tart pan and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

2

Bake the crust

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the crust for about 15 minutes, until firm. Let it cool completely.

3

Make the chocolate filling

In a saucepan, melt chocolate over low heat. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs and then combine with the melted chocolate. Pour this mixture into the cooled crust and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes. Let cool.

4

Prepare the chantilly mascarpone

In a large bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold in mascarpone cheese and vanilla extract. Sweeten with powdered sugar to taste.

5

Assemble the tart

Once the tart is cooled, spread the chantilly mascarpone over the chocolate filling. Top with roasted peanuts.

6

Serve

Slice the tart and serve chilled or at room temperature.
