1

Prepare the Glass

Rim your glass with smoked chili salt. To do this, rub a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and then dip it into a plate of smoked chili salt until the rim is coated evenly.

2

Slice the Jalapeño

Take the fresh jalapeño and slice it in half. Remove the seeds if you prefer a milder drink, otherwise, leave them in for extra heat. Cut a few slices for muddling and garnish.

3

Muddle Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add the sliced jalapeño, fresh cilantro, and fresh lime juice. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently muddle the ingredients together to release their flavors without pulverizing them.

4

Add the Spirits

To the muddled mixture, add the cazadores reposado tequila and triple sec. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and put the lid on tightly.

5

Shake the Cocktail

Shake the cocktail shaker vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to combine all the ingredients and chill the mixture.

6

Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice. Make sure to strain out the jalapeño and cilantro pieces.

7

Garnish and Enjoy

Garnish your Jalapeño Margarita with a lime wedge and a slice of jalapeño on top. Serve immediately and enjoy responsibly.
