Prepare the Green Beans
Trim the ends of the green beans and wash them thoroughly. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and blanch the green beans for about 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and immediately plunge them into ice water to stop the cooking process.
Toast the Almonds
