Method

Prepare the Miso Glaze

1

Mix the Ingredients

In a small bowl, whisk together the white miso paste, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil until smooth. Set aside.

Prepare the Salmon

2

Season the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

3

Apply Miso Glaze

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the miso glaze generously over each fillet.

4

Bake the Salmon

Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Prepare the Bok Choy

5

Sauté the Bok Choy

While the salmon is baking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

6

Add Bok Choy

Add the bok choy to the skillet, season with salt, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes, until the bok choy is tender and slightly wilted.

Prepare the Jasmine Rice

7

Cook the Rice

In a medium saucepan, combine the jasmine rice and water. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.

8

Fluff the Rice

Remove the saucepan from heat and let it sit covered for 5 minutes. Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.

Serve the Dish

9

Plate the Dish

On each plate, serve a portion of jasmine rice, topped with sautéed bok choy, and the miso-glazed salmon fillet. Drizzle any remaining glaze over the top if desired.
