If the bottle has been stored at room temperature above 20°C (68°F), chill in a refrigerator for 30–45 minutes to bring to a recommended serving temperature of about 16–18°C (61–64°F). Do not over-chill; this is a medium-bodied Italian red that shows best slightly cool to cellar temperature.

Pour the wine slowly into a clean decanter. Decant (recommended)

Serve with plain water on the side for palate cleansing between sips or between courses.
