Rum Base & Spirits

Garnish & Finish

Method

Prepare Glass & Garnish

1

Chill glass

Select a large rocks glass or a double old-fashioned glass. If desired, chill the glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes before assembling the cocktail.

2

Skewer 2 fresh blackberries on a small pick and set aside. Cut a 1/4-inch banana wheel and reserve for garnish. Lightly slap a mint sprig between your palms to release aroma and set aside.

Mix Cocktail

3

Combine ingredients

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add 2 oz Cruzan Single Barrel Rum, 0.5 oz blackberry liqueur, 0.5 oz banana liqueur, 0.5 oz berry syrup, 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, 2 oz pineapple juice and 1 oz orange juice to the shaker.

4

Shake

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for about 10–12 seconds, until the outside of the shaker becomes frosty and well chilled.

5

Prepare glass

Fill the chilled rocks glass with crushed ice (about 3/4 full).

6

Strain & top

Double-strain the cocktail from the shaker into the prepared glass over the crushed ice. If you prefer a lighter, fizzy finish, top with 1 oz club soda and give a gentle stir to combine.

Garnish & Serve

7

Place the blackberry skewer across the rim or nest it on top of the ice. Add the banana wheel to the rim or float it on the surface. Tuck the mint sprig into the ice near the garnish for aroma.

8

Serve immediately with a short straw. Optionally, provide an extra blackberry on the straw for visual flair.
