Strawberry Shake

Wash and crush the Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot grapes in a clean fermentation container. Ensure that the seeds are not crushed to avoid bitterness.

Prepare the Grapes

Add 1 liter of water and 0.5 cups of sugar to the crushed grapes. Stir well to dissolve the sugar.

Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of wine yeast over the mixture. Do not stir. Cover the fermentation container with a clean cloth.

Add Yeast

Allow the mixture to ferment for 7-10 days at room temperature. Stir the mixture daily and check for fermentation bubbles.

Fermentation

After fermentation, press the mixture to separate the liquid from the solids using a mesh strainer or wine press.

Press the Wine

Transfer the liquid to a clean fermentation vessel and add oak chips if desired. Seal and let the wine age for at least 3-6 months in a cool, dark place.

Aging

After aging, siphon the wine into clean bottles, leaving some space at the top. Cork the bottles and store them upright.

Bottling

Let the wine rest for a few weeks before enjoying it. Serve at room temperature.
