Goat Cheese Caña de Cabra Ingredients

Method

Preparation Directions

1

Prepare the Cheese Mixture

In a mixing bowl, combine goat cheese and cream cheese. Use a fork or a hand mixer to blend until smooth.

2

Add Seasoning

Stir in minced garlic, chopped fresh herbs, olive oil, salt, and black pepper to the cheese mixture. Mix until well combined.

3

Shape the Cheese

Transfer the cheese mixture onto a piece of parchment paper. Shape it into a log (cylinder) resembling a 'Caña de Cabra'. Wrap it tightly in the parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.

4

Garnish and Serve

Once firm, remove the cheese from the refrigerator. Unwrap it and roll it in chopped walnuts and sprinkle with paprika. Slice and serve with fresh baguette or crackers.
