If using fresh corn, remove the kernels from the cobs. You can also use canned or frozen corn for this recipe.
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
Add the corn kernels to the skillet and sauté for about 5 minutes until they start to soften.
Pour in the heavy cream and add the sugar, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally until the mixture thickens.
Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
