Ketel One Recipe

1. Prep

If serving on the rocks, fill a rocks glass with fresh ice and set aside. If serving straight up, chill a coupe or martini glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water to chill while you mix.

2. Mix

Add Ketel One vodka (2 oz), fresh lemon juice (0.75 oz), and simple syrup (0.5 oz) to a cocktail shaker.

3. Shake

Add 6 ice cubes to the shaker. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 10–15 seconds, until the shaker is cold and slightly frosted.

4. Strain

If serving straight up: double strain into the chilled coupe or martini glass using a Hawthorne and fine strainer to remove ice shards. If serving on the rocks: strain over the prepared rocks glass filled with fresh ice.

5. Optional Top

For a longer, lighter version, top with 1.5 oz club soda and gently stir once to combine.

6. Garnish & Serve

Express a lemon twist over the drink to release oils and drop it in, or float a lemon wheel on top. Serve immediately.

7. Use the jigger to measure spirits and mixers precisely. Use the cocktail shaker and strainers as noted. Present in a chilled coupe for a clean, spirit-forward serve or in a rocks glass over fresh ice for a longer, more refreshing option.
