Preparation

1

Prepare the Tuna

Season the yellowfin tuna steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides. Coat each steak with sesame seeds, pressing lightly to adhere.

2

Make the Sauce Vierge

In a small bowl, combine halved cherry tomatoes, olive oil, chopped basil, and lemon juice. Mix well and set aside.

3

Make the Ginger-Lime Dressing

In another small bowl, whisk together grated ginger, lime juice, honey, and soy sauce until well combined.

Cooking

4

Sear the Tuna

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add a small amount of oil and sear the tuna steaks for about 1-2 minutes on each side for rare. Remove from heat and let rest for a minute.

Assembly

5

Plate the Dish

On a plate, arrange mixed greens and top with edamame. Slice the seared tuna and place it on top of the greens. Drizzle with sauce vierge and ginger-lime dressing before serving.
