Smoothie Base

Sweetener & Enhancers (optional)

Garnish (optional)

Method

Prepare Fruit

1

Wash and hull berries

Rinse the strawberries and blueberries under cold water. Hull the strawberries (remove green tops) and pat all berries dry with a paper towel or clean kitchen towel.

2

Prep banana

Peel the ripe banana and break or slice it into large chunks so it blends evenly.

Blend Smoothie

3

Add the banana chunks, strawberries, blueberries, whole milk, and Greek yogurt to a blender in that order (so softer ingredients sit near the blade).

4

If using, add honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. The honey adds sweetness, vanilla brightens flavor, and lemon keeps the fruit flavors vibrant.

5

Add ice cubes if you want a thicker, colder smoothie. For a thinner smoothie, omit ice or use less.

6

Secure the blender lid and blend on medium-high for 45–60 seconds, or until the mixture is completely smooth and no large fruit pieces remain. Pause and scrape down the sides with a spatula if needed, then blend again for 10–15 seconds.

7

Check the consistency and sweetness. If it's too thick, add 2–4 tablespoons (30–60 ml) more milk and blend briefly. If not sweet enough, add an additional 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup and blend 5–10 seconds more.

Serve

8

Pour the smoothie into two glasses (or one large glass).

9

Garnish with banana slices, a whole strawberry on the rim, and a mint leaf if using.

10

Serve immediately with a straw.
