Cocktail

Method

Prep

1

Salt the rim

Run a lime wedge around the rim of a chilled highball or Collins glass. Pour the teaspoon of coarse salt onto a small plate and press the damp rim gently into the salt to coat evenly. Set the glass aside.

Mixing

2

Fill a cocktail shaker half full with ice.

3

Add Rock Town Vodka (2 oz), Fusetti Aperitivo (1 oz), grapefruit cordial (3/4 oz) and fresh lime juice (1/2 oz) into the shaker.

4

Shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until well chilled (the shaker should become frosty).

5

Fill the prepared glass with fresh cubed ice (about 1 cup).

6

Double-strain the shaken mixture into the prepared glass over the ice to remove small ice shards and any pulp.

7

Top gently with 2 oz chilled grapefruit soda. Stir once or twice gently with a bar spoon to integrate the soda without losing too much carbonation.

Finish & Serve

8

Garnish with a grapefruit wheel or wedge on the rim. Serve immediately with a straw if desired.
